Welcome to everyone whether you’re a trainee, trainer, college tutor or anyone else interested in Core Psychiatry training within Kent, Surrey and Sussex (KSS).
The School of Psychiatry within Kent Surrey & Sussex is currently a three year Core Training (CT) programme where trainees exit core training at ST4+ (which is also known as Higher Speciality Training).
Our programmes span the whole of Kent, Surrey & Sussex with good relationship links with other deaneries. The KSS Deanery has strong links with the London Deanery as currently higher training programmes rotate through both regions.

The School of Psychiatry is responsible for the recruitment and training of all Psychiatric posts. We aim to produce competent junior doctors that have the necessary skills to progress onto Higher Specialty training.
